NIU Huskie Career Resources Networking Night

The NIU Alumni Association has partenerd with the NIU Career Resources Center and the various academic colleges to present a Career Resources Networking Night. The evening will begin with guest speaker Richard Abraham, aka Mr. Shmooze.
He will talk about how to sell yourself in his presentation "The Art & Science of Selling through Relationships." After the presentation we will offer various networking opportunities with fellow alumni and current NIU students. And participants will be able to visit tables with additional career and interview related resources from several of the academic colleges, NIU Alumni Affinity Groups, NIU Career Services and more.
Five courses will also be available. Including:- Useful Resume Writing Tips
- How to Prepare for a Career Fair
- How to Find Job Postings/Job Search on Websites and NIU CRN and Alumni Career Resources
- Perfect Interview Demonstration
- What the NIUAA can do for you - Career Resources, Affinity Groups and Networking Events
This event is free to attend, light refreshments will be available.
Cardinal & Black and Legacy members of the NIU Alumni Association will receive a voucher for free admission to the next NIU career fair and a free book from Mr. Shmooze.
