Rules and Conditions
The GEICO photo contest begins October 15, 2011. The submission deadline is noon on November 28, 2011. Voting runs until December 15. The winners will be announced on December 16. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that they are 18 years old and older.
Each photograph submitted must have either been taken by, or show, the entrant. Photos of children may be sumitted only by their legal parent or guardian.
The NIU Alumni Association reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet these terms.
By submitting a photograph for the GEICO photo competition the entrant is giving permission to the NIU Alumni Association and GEICO to use their submitted photo in marketing pieces both online and in print.
Everyone may enter the contest except for employees of the NIU Alumni Association and their immediate families.
Contest finalists will be chosen by the NIU Alumni Association staff. Users will then determine the winner by online vote. Every effort has been made to prevent fraudulent voting.
