Second Annual NIU Alumni Association Golf Outing

The second annual NIU Alumni Association Golf Outing will be held at Cantigny Park on Monday, May 21. Cantigny is known for its beautiful 27-hole course nestled within 12 lakes, two creeks, and more than 70 sand bunkers. Join us for a day of golf with fellow alumni on this fantastic course. NIU men’s basketball coach Mark Montgomery will be in attendance to share what’s new in Huskie athletics. We will also have great prizes to raffle off during the day.
Following the success of last year’s outing, we will be offering the same great package at the same cost. The package includes a cart, boxed lunch, gift bag, three drink coupons, long-sleeve T-shirt, and dinner for $145 per person. Dinner only is $50.
We will play a scramble with four players to a team. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. Like last year, we will also enjoy a keynote speaker at the dinner.
The winning foursome will be invited to compete in the Acura College Alumni Team Championship at Pinehurst. Last year, Zach Jecklin (’08), Tim Kay (’10), Dan Gratton (’06), and Nick Schenk (’06) won the trip to Pinehurst and placed 11th out of 50 other alumni teams.
