Hawaiian Escape
December 27, 2008 - January 4, 2009
Warm trade winds and a traditional Hawaiian “Aloha!” await you on this three island touring itinerary. The islands of Maui, Hawaii and Oahu offer a vast diversity of landscapes, natural beauty and attractions. We’ll begin by traveling to the beautiful Iao Valley, peacefully hidden among towering mountain peaks to see the famed Iao Needle; then we head to Haleakala National Park where we journey from dense rain forest to fields of sugarcane and pineapple to the lunar landscape of the Red Hill Summit.
On the “Big Island” of Hawaii we visit the Kona Coffee plantation and enjoy an evening luau full of dramatic and colorful royal pageantry as we welcome in the New Year. Pearl Harbor’s Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri Battleship, and the Polynesian Cultural Center are all just some of the exciting touring we’ll have on the island of Oahu. You’ll savor the lovely sunsets, peaceful ocean beaches and historical importance of Hawaii on this exciting travel escape.
