The NIU Student Alumni Association is the only organization on campus that gives students the opportunity to network with hundreds of alumni at dozens of upscale Alumni Association events throughout the year. Helping students to succeed not only at NIU, but also as alumni after graduation is the greatest aim of the organization. The tools and resources that the SAA has to offer have helped its members to earn internships, launch careers, and receive scholarships.

Purpose
 The Student Alumni Association shall:

  • Stimulate the interest and participation of students and alumni in the life of the university by fostering interaction between the two groups.

  • Promote NIU school spirit.

  • Assist the Alumni Office with the programs and services it offers to students.

  • Encourage present NIU students to become active, loyal, and supportive alumni after graduation.

  • Check out our group on Facebook and feel free to join!

Membership
 Any NIU student is welcome to join! Members meet several times during the semester, and meetings are open to the general public.
