Alumni Picnic at the Lagoon

Join us for a family friendly picnic on the East Lagoon! Stop by anytime between 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, to try out a canoe, kayak or standup paddleboard. Enjoy lots of fun yard games or relax in a hammock, or get your picture taken with Mission and Mini Mish!
Tickets are $10 per person and include the use of all NIU Outdoor Adventure equipment, as well as a buffet dinner of sandwiches, chips and soft drinks. Kids 10 and under are free. Plus, make your own campfire s’more for dessert!
NIU Outdoor Adventures is a program within in the Recreation and Wellness department that has been providing trips, rentals, and amazing experiences to the students and community since 1983. The rain date will be Wednesday, May 27. Free parking will be available in lots 3 and 14.
This event is a part of the NIU Alumni Association's Experience NIU series, now in its third year.
