The Power of the Latinx Vote, presented by the Latino Alumni Council

simon-smallJoin sociology professor Simón Weffer, Ph.D., as he discusses the importance of the Latinx vote locally and nationally, examining some of the significant issues for Latinx voters and the data on Latinx voting in Chicago as well as nationwide.


Professor Weffer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and the Center for Latino and Latin American Studies. He teaches courses on race and ethnicity, social movements and collective behavior, sports and society, and Latino and Latin American Civilization.
