Virtual Painting Session: Celebrate NIU With Your Reds and Blacks

Please join the NIU Alumni Association as we celebrate 125 years of NIU with a virtual painting event. This virtual event will feature step-by-step instruction by Chelsea McGhee, of Chelsea McGhee Studios. This event is for all, whether you are a budding artist or a pro!


Pre-sketched canvases will be provided with all registrations. Simply choose how you would like to receive them. Pick up in person at either NIU Naperville, 475 E. Diehl Road, between 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, or the Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center, 231 North Annie Glidden Road, in DeKalb, from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15. Or, if you are unable to pick up canvases, you may have them mailed to your home.


Painting kits are also available and contain paint, brushes, paper towels, a water cup and a mixing plate.

Event Information

Cost:

  • $30: canvas only, pickup at DeKalb or Naperville.
  • $35: canvas only, mailed to your home.
  • $50: canvas and painting supply kit, pickup in DeKalb or Naperville.
  • $60: canvas and painting supply kit, mailed to your home.
