NIU vs. Iowa Pregame Reception

Travel with us to Iowa City to see your NIU Huskies take on the Iowa Hawkeyes to open the 2018 football season!

A pregame reception will begin 2 1/2 hours before kickoff at Hawkeye Village, which is located near Iowa's Kinnick Stadium at the Duane Banks Baseball Stadium. The private tented tailgate area will include an all-you-can-eat buffet with grilled steak sandwiches, brats, marinated chicken breasts, white cheddar macaroni and cheese, rainbow rotini salad, cookies, beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water. Huskie fans who attend the reception will also receive a commemorative lanyard as a special gift.

We are pleased to offer a number of game day packages exclusively to NIU alumni:

• Pregame reception only: $50 per person ($60 at the door) – kids 12 and younger are free!
• Pregame and bus transportation from DeKalb or Naperville (return same day) – $100
• Pregame and bus transportation from DeKalb or Naperville (return same day), kids 12 and younger – $50 (pregame is free)

Bus Transportation Schedule
7:30 a.m. - pick up at NIU Naperville
8:30 a.m. - pick up at Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center (NIU DeKalb)

11:45 a.m. - arrive at University of Iowa

Postgame - immediate departure for NIU DeKalb and NIU Naperville.
