Huskies vs. East Division Champion - 2018 MAC Football Championship

Your NIU Huskies are back in the MAC Football Championship! NIU will take on the East Division champion at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. CT / 7 p.m. ET Friday, Nov. 30, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

This will be the seventh time in the past nine seasons that NIU plays in the MAC championship. NIU is 3-4 all-time in the MAC championship game.
 

The pregame reception, hosted by the NIU Alumni Association, takes place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. ET in the Hall of Legends inside Ford Field. The price includes a full buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, and a beer and wine host bar. You must enter the pregame reception through Gate C, where you can pick up your tickets and your credentials.

• 6:30 a.m. - pick up at Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center (NIU DeKalb)
• 7 a.m. - depart Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center
• 7:45 a.m. - pick up at NIU Naperville
• 8 a.m. - depart NIU Naperville
• 12 p.m. ET - lunch at Crossroads Mall in Portage, MI.
• 12:45 p.m. ET - depart for Ford Field
• 4:30 p.m. ET - arrive at Ford Field
• 30 minutes after game ends (around 10:30 p.m.) - depart Ford Field
• 2:30 a.m.  - arrive at NIU Naperville
• 2:45 a.m. - depart NIU Naperville
• 3:30 a.m. - arrive at Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center
  NOTE: The bus is equipped with restrooms. Light snacks and bottled water will be provided on the bus. Alcohol is allowed, but must be in cans only. Please do not bring red wine or any drinks that could leave stains. No glass bottles of any kind are allowed. Coolers up to 3 feet in size are permitted, but cannot block the aisle.
