Mission Competes in National Dog Show, Wins Multiple Awards

The Huskie participates in several compitions each year.

NIU mascot Mission recently competed at the national United Kennel Club Premier Dog Show in Kalamazoo, Michigan, June 14 - 16.  He entered a variety of events, including altered conformation and SPOT testing.  On Saturday, Mission was awarded not only the Champions class, but went on to win Best of Breed under Judge Debbie Allen.  On top of this, he competed in the Northern Group, earning a huge Group 2 in a beautiful lineup of dogs!  

On Sunday, Mission was tested for the Socialized Pet Obedience Test, which he passed with flying colors!  We are so proud of Mission and his successes, and love the way he brings Huskie Pride wherever he goes!
