David Albright

’87, Journalism

David Albright has spent his professional career working in digital, radio and TV journalism and has worked extensively at ESPN.


He spent 25 years at ESPN (1993-2017), where he worked on SportsCenter and was a founding member of the team that created ESPN.com.


In addition, he was an executive in a global digital operation that launched sites in Africa, Australia and India. The New England resident has also served as an adjunct professor in sports journalism.


David graduated with a B.A. in journalism from NIU in 1987 and has an M.S. in business journalism from Arizona State University. He also completed the Sulzberger Executive Leadership Program from Columbia University.
