Mission's Grove is Back for its Third Season!
Mission’s Grove is located in Oderkirk Field, which is adjacent to the Barsema Alumni & Visitors Center, located at 231 N. Annie Glidden Rd. in DeKalb, Illinois, 60115. The area is open for three home football games in September and October. Mission's Grove begins two hours before kickoff before the first two games and three hours before the homecoming game kickoff against Toledo. There is no cost for admission.
This area will feature alumni-owned Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling and Waterman Winery & Vineyards, along with a variety of unique and eclectic food trucks that will appeal to all ages.
Mission’s Grove includes a 40’ x 60’ tent and 20 ‘ x 20’ tents that are also available for group rental. For tent pricing and availability, please contact the alumni events team at alumnievents@niu.edu or 815-753-3528.
The event will also feature everyone’s favorite mascot, Mission III. The undisputed highlight will be the “Mission's March,” as the NIU Huskie Marching Band will accompany Mission to Huskie Stadium, 45 minutes prior to kickoff.

• Mission's Grove opens at noon
• Kickoff 2:30 p.m.
• Tickets In celebration of the Huskies' 19th Boneyard Victory, tickets to this game are available at a special rate of $19 for west reserved seats, or $12.50 for east side general admission.
