Meet a Huskie: Robert Brinkmann, Ph.D, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Have you wanted to live a more sustainable life but you were not sure how to start? Join Robert Brinkmann, Ph.D., Dean of NIU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Smerge Endowed Dean's Chair, for a review of his 30 Day Sustainability Challenge.

Brinkmann, an author of several books and articles on sustainability, will discuss what we can do to live a greener life. He has coached many people on a range of issues from minimalism to reducing carbon footprints with his online 30 Day Sustainable Challenge. The presentation will review the main points of the challenge and provide you with 30 concrete steps toward living a more sustainable lifestyle.

Brinkmann joined NIU on July 1, coming from Hofstra University in New York.
