NIU Alumni Association Seeking Applications for Board of Directors
Have you wanted to engage with your alma mater? Are you interested in volunteering your time and talents for an organization with the mission of connecting alumni to the university and each other?
The Northern Illinois University Alumni Association is now accepting applications for directors for the NIUAA Board of Directors (deadline is March 6). Terms are three years and are aligned with our fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
This is an exciting opportunity for you to give back to your alma mater, but we know there are plenty of Huskies with a ton to offer to the NIUAA Board of Directors. Put your best 'paw' forward and apply today!
Expectations for directors
- Attend each of the three annual board meetings in person (March, June, October)
- Maintain a legacy-level paid membership to the Alumni Association
- Be actively involved in one of NIUAA’s committees, which meet monthly by conference call
- Attend key alumni events
- Be ready to proudly share your NIU experience and university news with your friends, colleagues and fellow alumni.
