Amy King is the group president for the Chicagoland Campuses and Centers, which includes four campuses and six university centers. King has oversight and responsibility for providing strategic leadership and operational direction to the 10 Chicagoland locations. She drives group results to increase new and continuing student enrollment, ensure academic quality, faculty excellence and positive student outcomes.
 

King has more than 20 years of academic leadership experience. She joined DeVry University in 2015 as the president of DeVry University’s Addison metro, overseeing campus operations management, faculty training and admissions management, along with strengthening ties with metropolitan business and industry leaders.
 

Prior to joining DeVry University, King served as regional director of business development for Rasmussen, Inc.’s Collegis Education, where she also served as president of Rasmussen College’s Illinois campuses and director of the Romeoville, Illinois, location.
 

Active in the community, King serves as chair of the board of directors for the Bolingbrook Hospital Foundation and on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors for DuPage County, and DuPage County Workforce Board. In 2015, she served as honorary chair for the Joliet, Illinois, March of Dimes Walk for Babies and previously served on the board of directors of the Will County Center for Economic Development, the Romeoville Economic Commission and Junior Achievement of Will County.
 

King earned an M.B.A. with a marketing emphasis from Benedictine University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Northern Illinois University.
