Latino Resource Center – Latin Chill

Latin Chill is the annual open house event for the Latino Resource Center (LRC) where we welcome and celebrate the new academic year. Attendees can connect and meet the Latinx campus community, learn about our student organizations and resources while enjoying dancing, music and free food.
 

Partner with the NIU Latino Resource Center
 

For the first time ever, DeKalb businesses and community partners can join us to help support Latin Chill while promoting their companies at the event.
 

Partnership requires a minimum donation of $100. Extra funds will support future programming and other needs of the NIU Latino Resource Center.
 

Registration
 

Registration is $100 per table (not per company) and must be submitted by Aug. 13. If you prefer to have two or more tables at Latin Chill, please register for each space separately.
 

If you wish to register past the closing date of Aug 20, email lsantosrivas@niu.edu to be placed on a waiting list. Companies on the waiting list will be contacted if space becomes available.
 

Event Details
 

The Latin Chill event will be held from 4-6 p.m. Setup occurs from 3:30-4 p.m.
 

Included in your registration is one table and two chairs. If you need parking, you can purchase a visitor pass through Parking Services. Electricity is not available. The LRC is not responsible for tickets that guests may incur for campus parking violations.
