Bright Angel Wine Tasting at Main Street Social

Sip, savor and explore wines from the Napa and Sonoma vineyards with fellow Huskies at this special tasting experience featuring Bright Angel Wines, founded by NIU alumnus Ken Stemke, ’83.

After launching Bright Angel Wines with their first two varietals in 2015, Stemke expanded by opening Main Street Social in Libertyville in 2017. The restaurant showcases a wine-centric Italian-American dining concept, with Bright Angel Wines at its core. Today, the Bright Angel portfolio includes 10 varietals sourced primarily from Napa and Sonoma vineyards, including four exclusive house wines created for the restaurant.

During this event, guests will enjoy a guided tasting of up to six Bright Angel wines, learning about each wine’s appearance, aroma, flavor profile and tasting notes. The experience will be complemented by a selection of appetizers provided by Main Street Social.
