For the Love of Humans: A History of Dogs

The NIU Alumni Association and Pick Museum of Anthropology are proud to present Canines and Cocktails at 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at The James B. and Rosalyn L. Pick Museum of Anthropology in Cole Hall as part of the NIUAA's "Experience NIU" series.
 

This event marks the opening reception for "For the Love of Humans: A History of Dogs". This exhibit will take you on a journey through the timeless relationship between dogs and humans. Visitors will explore the early domestication of dogs, experience the diverse ways dogs enrich our lives, learn to become an activist for animals and discover how NIU became the Huskies.

Canines and Cocktails includes a cocktail reception that features beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres. Online registration is $10 and tickets at the door are $15.
