cob-deborah-bruckerDeb Brucker is an accomplished, results-oriented global HR, learning, talent and OD executive with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic human capital planning, performance consulting, leadership development, succession planning and executive coaching. In addition to her expertise, Brucker has cross-cultural experience from leading HR organizations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.


Brucker is currently the global head of learning advisory at Citi. She has been with Citi since April 2012, starting as chief of staff and director of strategy and performance for consumer learning. In this position, she led the performance consulting organization (a team of 55) for consumer learning while also serving in a dual capacity as chief of staff for the global head of consumer learning. After moving to the global head of learning advisory role, Brucker

developed the global learning operational strategy for leadership and performance solutions. She also led the creation and execution of the firm’s HR 2020 manager and leader capability strategy, a top HR and talent strategic priority.


Prior to Citi, Brucker was at Fifth Third Bank as chief learning officer and senior vice president. Coming in to Fifth Third Bank as a vice president in HR, Brucker provided HR leadership and strategy to business unit executives in central operations and investment operations concerning employee engagement, performance and talent optimization, leadership coaching, succession planning, and culture and inclusion. After being promoted to the role of chief learning officer, Brucker developed the learning, talent and leadership development strategies for Fifth Third Bank and led a team of 125 learning and talent professionals in the areas of performance consulting, instructional design and development, and delivery and learning analytics.


Before Citi, Brucker spent 10 years at DaimlerChrysler Financial Services as a senior director in human resources. Her responsibilities there included HR strategy and business development, leadership coaching consultation, organizational change, employee and labor relations, executive succession planning, and key talent management for over 5,400 employees in 17 locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.


Brucker holds an MBA from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Administration from Northern Illinois University.
