From the Center for Greek Life to the Baustert Bahwell Health Technology Center and the Forward Campaign, NIU is in a transformative time to improve both the student and alumni experience. There has never been a better time to get involved with our alma mater and volunteer our talents to help usher in that transformation.

Building a Legacy: Driven to Revitalize Greek Life, Sigma Phi Epsilon Celebrates New Home

To the brothers and alumni of Sigma Phi Epsilon, a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony was more than a celebration of a new chapter home. It represented a new chapter in the history of the fraternity, as well as Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) at NIU.

Delta Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. Celebrates 65 Years

In a powerful tribute to history, sisterhood and service, nearly 90 members of the Delta Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. recently returned to NIU to celebrate the chapter’s 65th anniversary. The weekend-long event brought generations together — from an original charter member to new members — to honor the chapter’s founding on May 22, 1960, at NIU.
