Greek Alumni Network
The Greek Alumni Network, created in 2007, is the affinity group representing graduates and friends of the NIU Greek system. The Greek Alumni Network focuses on connecting alumni from Greek Life back to NIU by hosting several events each year throughout the year and supporting current members of Greek Life at NIU.

Mission
The Greek Alumni Network (GAN) exists to foster engagement between Northern Illinois University (NIU) alumni, NIU’s Greek Life community, and Northern Illinois University (NIU) and seeks to:
- Foster the growth of NIU Greek students.
- Advocate for the Greek program.
- Engage alumni in ways to deepen their relationship with the University and each other.
- Provide support to current students that will enrich their experience as members of NIU’s Greek Life community.
- Promote philanthropic efforts that support NIU Greek Life.
- Collaborate with NIU’s Greek Life Advisory Group, which serves in an advisory role to the University.
