The Latino Alumni Council is focused on supporting Latino students and providing networking opportunities to alumni. The LAC hosts a variety of events for alumni each year, including networking workshops, cultural events and tailgating parties. Mission
The mission of the Northern Illinois University Latino Alumni Council is to maximize the academic and social experience of Latinos at NIU, to serve as a representative voice for Latino alumni and to assist in the unification of alumni efforts to further and support the interests of Northern Illinois University. These goals shall be accomplished through networking, advocacy and actively engaging Latino members of the NIU community and others.
